Upcoming Hike: Cumberland Trail Possum Creek Section 9-11-10

This will be a 9.5  mile long shuttle hike, beginning at the Heiss Mountain Road Trailhead off HWY 111 and ending at the Retro-Hughes Road Trailhead.  The route includes both a 1000-foot elevation gain and loss and is rated moderately strenuous. The assembly point in Murfreesboro will be Sam’s parking lot behind the Hardees off  I-24 exit 78 south. The caravan will leave promptly at 7:am CDT. For those wanting to meet at the beginning trailhead, the assembly time there is 10:am EDT.
