We had nine people come out for the Stones River Battlefield hike this past Saturday. Jay Brain (new member), Ann Ford, Nabil Wakid, Bob Goodwin, Sandra Parker, Jan Safavi, Joan Bently, Colleen Mathis (out of town visitor), and Jennifer Zahn. We had perfect 71 degree weather to hike the 3 plus mile Boundary Trail. This trail winds through the wooded part of the battlefield, so we enjoyed the lush green foliage and saw numerous wild flowers. A good time was had by all.
