Hike Report- Stone Door/BCG/BCR

We had 6 folks join in on the Stone Door/Big Creek Gulf/Big Creek Rim hike. There were plenty of wildflowers out to enjoy. A couple of us forded the creek to see Ranger Falls and with all the recent rain it was quite spectacular. The temps were nice although I for one got a bit of a sunburn!

After we climbed out of the gorge we split into two groups. Some of us were treated to a large black snake across the Laurel trail and had to divert through the woods as he was quite content to stay put. Others had an uneventful trip back along the Rim trail. All in all it was a beautiful day and a great hike!
