Hike Report : January 22 - Snow "N Ice Hike, Fall Creek Falls State Park, Spencer, TN - Twelve hikers and Park Ranger Matt Brown took the Rim Trail from the Nature Center to the main falls and the alternate trail back to the swinging bridge, ending up at the park's Nature Center.
Much of the snow and ice had melted but it was still beautiful and not as cold as Friday had been. Ranger Brown pointed our several kinds of animal tracks along the way and shared his other observations of the flora and fauna.
We were definitely ready for the tasty lucheon buffet in the park's inn by the end of the hike, where we celebrated Bruce Harvey's 70the birthday!
