Six of us hiked at Beaman Park on Saturday. The creekside section was especially pretty as there was much water. Since the park is on the Highland Rim, the flowers are a bit later than those here in the basin. We saw only hepatica and toadshade (trillium) which was in an early stage. Afterwards, we ate at The Farm House at Fontanel, the former B. Mandrell estate. Good food, especially the white chocolate raspberry bread pudding.
