Little Soddy Creek Historic Sites Marked
During the recent Alternate Spring Break Program, 12 signs were installed marking historic mining sites in the Little Soddy Creek Trail Section of the Cumberland Trail. The installation work was performed by 10 students from Hamilton College and 2 trail volunteers from the Murfreesboro area. Special thanks to the Murfreesboro Chapter for providing the material funding and to Jim Lifsey of Monterey, a long time CT supporter, for his carpenter skills in the formation of the sign boards.
