Short Springs State Natural Area Part Two: BUSBY FALLS 4-23-11

The second day. Yesterday I went with just my dog to photograph Machine Falls at Short Springs. Today (Saturday) I led a hike back here with the Tennessee Trails and we hiked Machine Falls Loop, Busby Falls Loop and Adams Falls Loop.
Adams Falls was dry, which saddened me. It looks like it would be a beautiful fall if it were flowing. But, Busby was flowing nicely. It's more of a cascade than a true fall, but the rock formations and vegetation around Bobo Creek was fascinating.
