Fall Creek Falls- Tony
The continuation of our “Good Friday” hike continued in the Fall Creek Falls State Park. We wanted to visit the main waterfall here while we were in the area.
Anthony, Monica and Lillian departed from our little group and myself, Sara, Denise & Lora went to the falls. This waterfall (Fall Creek Falls) is the largest of the four in the park and the only one we visited today. This fall is the tallest waterfall east of the Mississippi River and as you can see is simply amazing.
The hike to the bottom of the falls is short BUT STEEP and very rocky. Enjoy the nice breeze off the falls at the bottom because the climb back out is murder.
