From Anna Bertram...Celebration of Spring April 11th at Edgar Evins State Park: Despite drizzle, fog and chilly temperatures we estimate we had about 100 people at the park for this expanded event. At least 8 members of Tennessee Trails Association were there to take part and/or help. I wish to thank Nabil Wakid for leading the 2 PM hike although I think just he and Rad Smith from our TTA Chapter, plus Ruth Ann Henry from the Upper Cumberland Chapter, 
hiked the Millennium Trail. Bud Young was there earlier for the Wildflower Hike with the Park's Naturalist, Holly Taylor. Also on that morning hike were Ruth Ann, Nabil and Rad. Joyce Chapman and Robbie Benson, both from the Nashville TTA Chapter, worked all day as part of the Friends of Edgar Evins State Park volunteer staff. our "Easter bonnets". It sort of captures the spirit of this fun day.
