The three of us - Jeanne Conatser, Sara Kennedy and Sara Pollard started out the day at Port Royal State Historic Park. We walked the short Trail of Tears National Historic Trail that goes along the Red River. We couldn't see the river due to all the foliage. Then from there we drove 20 minutes to Dunbar Cave State Park in Clarksville. We hiked the Recovery Trail that made a loop around the park. We saw a mother deer and her two babies and turtles sunning on a log in Swan Lake. After the hike we did the hour long ranger led hike inside the cave and learned a lot about the history of the cave.
