We had eight hikers to take on the 14 mile hike on the Perimeter Trail in Sewanee. We started at Lake Cheston and made the loop passing Clara's Point, Elliott Point, and had lunch at King's Farm. King's Farm is a good place to eat because there are several picnic tables. Then on to Dotson's Point and a break at the Forestry Cabin. We passed KA Point as well but the sign is missing. We got to Lake Cheston around 4:00 pm to finish our hike. The temperature got into the 80's but we had a breeze most of the time. The wildflowers were abundant and the small creeks were pretty. We had beautiful views along as well. Hikers were Glenda Brewster, Susan Gonzales, Joan Hartvigsen, Sara Pollard, Marietta Poteet, Marge Schumacher, Gloria Dale Williams and Wayne Yancey.
