There were 7 hikers on the David Crockett State Park hike. We met at the David Crockett Museum to start the hike. We walked up past the restaurant and swimming pool to begin the hike on the Crawfish Valley Trail. Randy Hedgepath, Tennessee State Naturalist joined us and was able to identify flowers and trees for us. We had a Shoal Creek crossing below a beautiful waterfall at the end of the hike. Four of us had "lunch" at the park restaurant but it was actually breakfast since breakfast is served all day on Saturday and our only option. Hikers were Jay Brain, Jeanne Conatser, Randy Hedgepath, Wendy Kloos, Tom Kloos, Sara Pollard, and Margie Timmons (Sumner Trails chapter).
