We had 15 kayakers and one person on a sailboat at Woods Reservoir located at Arnold Engineering Development Center (AEDC) near Tullahoma. This was a joint event with the Highland Rim chapter, and we had members from the Scenic City and Sumner Trails chapters as well. It was a beautiful day, and we put in on Brumlow Creek and paddled the shoreline of Elder Island. We enjoyed lunch under a nice picnic, and also passed the UT Space Institute, officers' club and beach area. Kayakers were Jim Barritt, Cathy Conley, Chuck Deen, Patty Deen, Wayne Drown, Ron Dunn, Joan Hartvigsen, Scott Jordan, Sarah Lovett, Sara Pollard, Julie Roberts, Georganne Ross, Lynn Rosser, Todd Stanley, Suzanne Thigpen, and Michel Travers on his sailboat.
Mission: TTA brings people together through hiking—to enjoy nature, promote well-being, support trails, and build lasting friendships.

Woods Reservoir - Sara
Seven of us had a relaxing paddle around Woods Reservoir in Tullahoma today. We pretty much had the lake to ourselves. We were able to take a break in the shade along the shoreline and enjoy a snack under some trees. It was a great day to be on the water!

Woods Reservoir Paddle-Sara
We had 5 paddlers to meet at the Woods Reservoir boat ramp off New Brick Church Road on the Arnold Air Force Base near Tullahoma. Rain was in the forecast for later this afternoon so we had an overcast with a little sun popping out occasionally. There were just a few fishermen on the lake so we pretty much had the lake to ourselves. We paddle around an island and had a snack and water at a boat ramp that's not on the map. Paddlers were Jim Barritt, Jeff Cowell and his well-behaved service dog Willa, Joan Hartvigsen, Sara Pollard and Carol Price.
