This is the only fundraising we do for our chapter each year. We need people to donate merchandise for us to sell and we need people to donate their time even more! We will need folks to come out early to help set up tables and unload the donated items. We need people to help throughout the day with pricing, helping customers, taking money, etc. We will also need to borrow some tables to display all our items on.This fundraising yard sale allows the chapter to purchase items for our Christmas party and Summer picnic as well as our hike planning meetings. We use these funds to purchase our calendars, business cards and door prizes. We also make our yearly donations to the CTC with this income.
It may seem like it's a long way off but it will creep up on us! Check your calendars now and if you can spend the day, half a day or even a couple of hours at the yard sale get in touch with Anna Bertram to volunteer. abertram@dtccom.net
