Upcoming Hike- Monte Sano State Park

Feb. 28- 5 miles, moderate

Join Bob Goodwin and Sandra Parker for a great hike with panoramic views of the Tennessee Valley, a small waterfall, and steep rock outcroppings. The hike includes parts of the N. Plateau, S. Plateau and Mountain Mist trails. The trail is rocky and uneven in a few places. We'll hike about half the time on the ridges and the rest below the cliffs. The moderate rating comes from a 225ft. elevation gain in a short distance. There is a $3 per person park usage fee. After the hike we will have lunch at a local restaurant.
