The Nashville Chapter will be participating in an Earth Day event at Long Hunter State Park on April 25 and has asked for help from nearby chapters. If you are not planning on attending the Bowling Farm Hike & Potluck please consider spending a couple of hours helping at the TTA booth at this event. This is a great way to help raise awareness of our organization. AND....the Edgar Evins Festival of Spring on April 11...The Friends of Edgar Evins State Park organization is looking for TTA hike leaders for this free public event which will include hikes of various lengths and difficulties. So come help introduce the public to hiking with TTA. Volunteers are also needed for face painting, and possibly helping with an Easter Egg Hunt. The restaurant is offering a 10% discount to attendees and workers. Also, helpers may have optional free camping if they desire.
