Sally Hubbard and Mary Priestley have started what might turn out to be a very popular goal for us all; to hike all the trails of the South Cumberland Recreation Area.. This is a short fuse event for the kick-off but if anyone would be interested in joining here is the opportunity:

Mary and I are pursuing our "I hiked 'em all" project for the South Cumberland State Recreation Area. We'd like to do a 17-mile hike next Tuesday, July 28, and are wondering about having some strong hikers join us, and/or swapping keys and cars with someone who wants to hike it from the opposite direction to avoid the long shuttle ride after the hike. We could meet at the Visitor Center on Hwy. 56 at about 8 a.m. to swap cars to park at the opposite ends. Make sense? Thoughts? Suggestions?
