Join us next Tuesday August 11 for our monthly meeting at the Wilderness Station at 7pm. Our program will be a demonstration of our new computer equipment! We voted in July to designate $1,000 toward the purchase of new equipment for our chapter. After what seemed like an endless amount of time online comparing this brand with that feature I finally made a choice and the equipment should arrive today!
The Murfreesboro chapter now owns a laptop computer, dlp projector, a small external hard drive to back up our files and a fancy little laser pointer! I am going to put together a short presentation on the upcoming annual meeting so we can all see the new gear in action. We also will have a business meeting where we will discuss what went on at the quarterly board meeting and we need to discuss and vote on adopting a section of the CT for our chapter to be responsible for.
If anyone has other items of business to discuss please email me so we can allot time for everything.
We should have plenty of time for socializing this time so plan to stay and chat!
