The annual New Year's Day hike was held at Edgar Evins SP this year due to a big game hunt scheduled at our usual Bridgestone/Firestone Centennial Wilderness. This multi-chapter hike headed up by Bobby Hardeman of the Columbia-Franklin Chapter drew over 30 hikers from several chapters. The change in venue proved to be a welcome one. We were able to utilize one of the shelters at EESP that not only had picnic tables but also offered a fireplace to help cut the bitter cold! Thursday, January 7, 2010
New Years Day Hike Report
