Cane Creek Canyon Hike Report

We had 5 folks from the Franklin Chapter and 2 (Sandra and Me) form the Murfreesboro Chapter. The weather was perfect. We saw several rock shelters and waterfalls. Also, running through the property is Cane Creek and others. We had our sack lunches by the rushing water. We also talked with Jim and Faye Lacefield (the owners) on their lawn in front of their Spanish type home that they built years ago. They are always friendly and helpful. They showed us the plans for the newly acquired 300 acres where they are building trails and doing good things to protect the natural environment.
