It's the Bowling Farm and it is fall. That means it is time for our Fall Color walk and potluck social at the Monterey Farm of Winston & Billie Jo Bowling. The farm is a nearly 500 acre hardwood tree farm and that means that we are in for some glorious colors. This year we will hike the old Deer Stand Trail and meander through the old home site back to the farm for a potluck meal and socialization. The hike will be about 4 miles and will be easy to moderate based on terrain. If you are unable to hike--COME ANYWAY! Just sit on the porch and enjoy the view, and Billie Jo will put you to work getting things ready for the hungry bellies coming back from the hike.The hike will be Saturday November 6.
