Cumberland Trail Work

Trail maintenance is planned October 7-14 in the Cumberland Trail’s New River segment. Trail maintenance will be on both sides of Cross Mountain. We will be meeting every morning at 8:15 AM ET at the Cumberland Trail trailhead on Butter and Egg Road in Caryville, TN. This is near Cove Lake State Park on the park’s west side. The CTC will have a base camp at Cove Lake State Park and out-of-town volunteers are welcome to camp and for those camping that are CTC members, camp meals (plenty of rice) will be provided. You will need to bring your own tent, sleeping gear, and other personal items. We will have tools, you will need work gloves, lunch, and water. Please let me know if you can volunteer.
