On Saturday Jim Schroeder and Martin McCullough joined 15 other Highland Rim hikers to enjoy Lost Cove from the Caldwell Trail on the south rim of Sewanee Mountain. A special treat was the opportunity to view the valley to the south from Disappointment Point through the gracious permission of the property owner. Not to be forgotten is the camaraderie enjoyed before the hike at the Blue Chair Coffee House and at lunch afterwards at Julia’s. Carolyn Fitz was our most knowledgeable and accommodating hike leader.
