Shelby Bottoms Hike - East & West Loops – December 27, 2012
We had a small group to brave the chilly weather for this urban hike, but it didn’t take long to warm up. We left our cars at the Wave Country parking lot on Briley Parkway, crossed the Cumberland River pedestrian bridge and walked the greenway with views of the river. Stopped at the Shelby Bottoms Nature Center and headed back on the Cornelia Fort natural surface trail.
Hikers: Sara Pollard, Steve Pollard, Ann Ford, Joan and Tom Hartvigsen of the Highland Rim chapter.
