Savage Falls is a beautiful year round waterfall located in the Savage Gulf State Natural Area near Palmer, Tennessee. The Savage Day Loop is about a 4.5 mile loop that is just part of a connection of trails that span about 55 miles total.
There are other falls in this park as well and it is also the home of the Great Stone Door, Fiery Gizzard and other fascinating places to hike to and visit.
It was cold today but that didn't stop the five of us from the Murfreesboro Chapter of the Tennessee Trails Association from enjoying a wonderful hike and lunch laster at Logan's Roadhouse in Manchester, Tennessee.
