There were 7 hardy souls who came out today to work on the 1 mile Rocky Path Trail at Barfield Crescent Park. We split up into two groups and met in the middle to complete the maintenance work. We cut back limbs over the trail, pulled weeds and met some hikers who appreciated us being there. It was hot and we were really glad to get finished at 11:00 am.
I took a “before” picture of the group before we started, but didn’t take an “after” picture. We were hot, sweaty and ready to get home for showers. I took a picture of a pretty columbine flower along the trail.
