We had 10 hikers for the Sunday afternoon hike to Greeter Falls, Boardtree Falls and the Big Bluff Overlook. Even though the weather report was predicting isolated thunderstorms, we didn’t encounter any until the drive home. The sun stayed behind the clouds so it made the temperature seem cooler. The pools of water at Lower Greeter Falls and the Blue Hole were not clear and were very deep. This was a joint hike with the Highland Rim chapter. Hikers were Sara Pollard, David McGovern, Tony Jones, Juliet Cordova, Ann Ford, Joan Hartvigsen, Tom Hartvigsen, Marietta Poteet, Celia from Sewanee, and Pete Broehl of the Upper Cumberland chapter.
