We had a total of five hikers and had a great hike! The trail was beautiful, well marked and maintained. There were fallen trees but had been cleared from the trails. In some places, you could still smell the sawdust where fallen trees had been cut away from the trail. Hikers met at the Lake Cheston parking lot and began the hike at Roark’s Cove road. Lunch was enjoyed on the picnic tables at Kings Farm. Hikers were Cathleen Close, Joan Hartvigsen, Celia Jeffery, Debra Swaim and Ruth Wells.
The spot for Murfreesboro TTA members & friends to come for weekly news updates.
