Tony Jones led an urban Nashville hike with the Nashville group. The hike was scheduled for Saturday, April 27, but was changed to Sunday due to the Music City Marathon. We parked near the State Museum and started the hike at the 95-Bell Carillon. Tom Vickstrom, a local historian and member of the Nashville chapter started the hike around the state capitol, down by Nissan stadium and back across the pedestrian bridge. Tom and some of the group left and didn't continue the hike to have lunch and tour Union Square. We enjoyed dining outside at Jack's Barbecue. Tony finished up the tour as our guide and ended the hike at the Farmer's Market. There was a total of 19 hikers including several first time participants. Members from Murfreesboro were Tony Jones, Sara Pollard and Jane Reyling
