We had a great turnout for the Bowling Farm Wildflower Hike & Potluck. There were over 25 TTA members who joined in this event, in fact we had a large number of members who were coming to this hike for the first time. We were all happy to have Jim, Marty, Ann, Cathy, Tim, and our newest member Miriam join in on the fun. The creeks were definitely flowing and we all had to do a bit of rock hopping to keep our feet dry! We didn't have as many wildflowers as usual possibly because the leaves were already coming in and beginning to shade the ground a bit.
We did however have just as much delicious food as usual.
In fact I was very nearly stampeded when I announced Billie Jo had just sliced a loaf of homemade sourdough bread to fortify the hikers before they hit the trail!!!
