From Bob Goodwin...
Despite the threat of rain and a sprinkling during the hike we had eight hikers from Murfreesboro, Tullahoma and Huntsville. On the edge of the Devil’s Racetrack at the top of the mountain we were able to see a rare Colombo plant in bloom. They bloom every 3-5 years. There were other wildflowers as you can see in the photos. After the hike we all went to a restaurant in Hazel Green, AL and had a great buffet lunch. Photos taken by Bob Goodwin, Nabil Wakid and Tom Bryant.
