We had 5 Murfreesboro members and one each from Soddy Daisy and Memphis taking advantage of the cool weather in the mountains over the long weekend. The temperatures were mild with some rain and mostly overcast skies but we had some amazing views and a good steady climb up to Mt. Cammerer on Sunday. We enjoyed Mexican food and Bluegrass music in Cosby on our second night and then a breakfast with mountain views at the Carver Apple Farm on Labor Day. For once we did almost as much eating and drinking as hiking!
