LouAnn Partington, TTA Vice President and Highland Rim member will be presenting a program on her Wildlife Rehabilitation program. I asked Louann to send me a list of items she uses both at her home rehab and the Tims Ford State Park offices where she is working to create an in-house rehab program. I hope everyone will be able to bring an item or cash to donate. Independant Wildlife Rehabilitators are not paid for their services by any agency and their services are usually funded by donations. Here is the wish list LouAnn sent me...Paper Towels (white), Klennex (plain white, unscented, no lotions), Laundry Detergent, Dish Soap, Antibacterial Hand Soap, Bleach, Shelled Nuts (no peanuts, but just about any other kind is good), Gift Cards -Wal-Mart, any grocery store, Lowe's, Home Depot, Beechnut Chicken & Chicken Broth Baby Food, Hill's Science Diet Kitten Chow (original flavor), High Quality Cat Chow (any brand), Apples, Potatoes, Vegetables(mostly the green ones, but we can use carrots and corn too), Paper (copier or printer), Cash, Laptop, Printer, LCD Projector, Any nature books for children, Laundry baskets (rectangular - any size), Astroturf, Indoor/outdoor carpet.
