I thought you might like seeing the video which will be played at Frans Memorial since you will be unable to attend. Devin Wells has done a outstanding job creating this amazing tribute. Frans family came by this morning, before the memorial, for some private time while watching it for the first time.

Dear Friends,

Arrangements for a celebration of Fran Wallas’ life have been finalized. We will gather between the hours of 1:00 pm and 6:00 p.m on Saturday November 6^th to celebrate the life of our dear friend and colleague. All of Fran’s family will be in attendance and they look forward to seeing everyone. Commissioner Fyke will speak at 3:00. A video camera will be set up to record everyone’s favorite memories of Fran and refreshments will be served. Bass, Berry, and Sims, PLC has graciously provided the event space at their offices on the 7^th floor of the Pinnacle Building at Symphony Place in downtown Nashville. Parking is free. Dress is casual. Directions are as follows:

From the East/Nashville International Airport

• Take I-40 West.
• Approximately 5.8 miles past the Nashville Airport follow I-40 West at the split (it is also I-24 West) for approximately two miles. At the I-40/I-24 split, take I-40 West.
• Take the Exit 210C onto 2nd Avenue/4th Avenue. Turn right on Second Avenue South.
• Turn left on Demonbreun Street (0.6 miles), and then right onto Third Avenue South.
• The entrance to the Pinnacle parking garage is on the right.

From the West

• Take I-40 East.
• Merge onto I-40 E via Exit 12C on the left.
• Take Exit 209B toward Broadway and turn left on Broadway.
• In approximately 1 mile turn right on Third Avenue.
• The entrance to the Pinnacle parking garage is on the left, just past the entrance to the Shelby Street Walking Bridge.

From the South

• Take I-65 North.
• At the I-40 junction, take I-40 West towards Nashville.
• Take the Broadway exit and merge to the far right-hand lane.
• Turn right on Broadway.
• Turn right on Third Avenue South.
• The entrance to the Pinnacle parking garage is on the left, just past the entrance to the Shelby Street Walking Bridge.

From the North

• Take I-65 South to I-24 East to the exit for James Robertson Parkway.
• Turn right at the end of the ramp and follow James Robertson Parkway across the Victory Memorial Bridge to Third Avenue.
• Turn left on Third Avenue (second traffic light after crossing the river). Stay on Third Avenue and you will cross over Broadway.
• The entrance to the Pinnacle parking garage is on the left, just past the entrance to the Shelby Street Walking Bridge.

The family has asked that donations be made to the Cumberland Trails Conference in lieu of flowers. A collection box will be set up at the celebration with a representative of their organization available to answer any questions.
