We had 17 total hikers, a very nice size for their house there. We had lots of food and desserts and a good time. A lively debate about politics and the recent national elections was a fun divergence from our usual watching of football on TV. It was all in good fun and we look so forward to the annual Spring Wildflower Hike & Potluck in 2011.
Thanks so much to our great hosts, as always, Winston & Billie Jo and the "crowd" of hikers and eaters that made this a wonderful event.
On a side note. The responsible guide, myself (Tony), managed to lose his way on a trail he's walked dozens of times. It was rather embarrassing but we all survived. It was one simple turn that I failed to make and we nearly repeated the entire hike. But, that just made lunch that much better!
